Lex Demands double water rations Jack helps Amber to list what's in the food store (not a lot), and it looks like rationing is the only answer. Lex & Ryan overhear their discussion, and Lex won't accept any system of rationing. Jack is even more concerned about the water supply - it will certainly need to be rationed. Their water supply comes from a tank on the roof, and Amber sends Jack to see how much is left. Lex insists that he and Ryan go with him (for Jack's safety, of course). On the roof, Lex makes sure Jack fully understands how the new water ration will operate: he and Ryan are to get double - starting now, and Lex hands him a bucket.
