Bray assures Zoot that he isn't walking into a trap, then fetches Trudy who brings the baby with her. Zoot was not expecting to see Trudy with a child and takes some convincing the she is his daughter. ![]() Zoot now realizes the implications and answers, So? Bray has to spell it out: the baby is his and he must take full responsibility for them both. Zoot now rejects Trudy: she was once his woman, but was stolen by Bray (like everything else) and he can keep them. Bray sets him straight: she ran away from Zoot and the Locos because she was scared; he then found and looked after Trudy because there was no one else. Zoot wants Trudy will go with him. Trudy wants him to renounce Power & Chaos and be father and husband with her at the Mall. ![]() Bray tries to pursuade Zoot that its time to end Tribal warfare, handing him his daughter as the best reason possible. has crept up behind them, poised, ready to strike. Trudy takes the baby
from Zoot. Bray orders Lex to backoff, since Zoot is alone and unarmed;
but Lex wants a fight, and lands a blow into Zoots gut. Bray tries
to stop Lex and receives the same treatment as Lex pulls him to the ground.
Zoot escapes and runs up the Mall stairs.Lex and Ryan go on the hunt. Bray tries to stop them and they viciously attack him. Zoot breaks cover and rushes to take on Lex, who tips him over the balcony to the floor below. Lex crows: I showed him. I showed him. No one messes with Lex.
