Conflict between Trudy & Salene Trudy sees Salene as a real threat to her relationship with Bray. Trudy's relationship with Bray is all in her head. Out of necessity, Salene has been looking after the baby since day 1, because Trudy cannot or will not. When Trudy finds Salene holding her baby, she orders her to Put her down. What? Salene can't believe it. You heard me...keep your hands off her. Trudy accuses Salene of wanting the baby (and Bray) for herself, and she's to stay away. Trudy's shouting brings Bray into the room. She accuses Salene of trying to take their baby. Bray orders Trudy to stop it. Salene is terribly upset and asks Trudy how she can treat her like this after everything she's done for her. Trudy answers that she doesn't want Salene to do anything for her - just stay away. Salene runs off in quite a state. Bray confronts Trudy: Have you completely lost it? You need all the help you can get, and you drive her away. Trudy collapses in tears again: I hate this place. I don't want to be here any more. Bray puts his arms round her to comfort her.
