Zoot's Ghost At the end of ep.11, the girls get together after dark to discuss going on strike against the boys. An eerie sound suddenly fills the air. Salene wonders if it is the Locusts, but Cloe, knowing it is her calf Bluebell, suggests it must be Zoot’s ghost. "Zoot’s ghost" wakes everyone in the Mall and the most frightening thing is that no one knows what it is, except Cloe and Bray, (he knows about Bluebell), but neither reveal the secret. Lex takes charge, ordering Ryan to put the girls in the cage for their protection. Amber insists the girls can fight if need be, so they go to the cafe instead. Lex and the "troops" (Ryan, Dal, Jack) prepare to investigate and he orders Bray to join him; Bray refuses. Amber finds Bray & Trudy sniggering together and guesses they know what it is. They refuse to comment. The boys follow the sound through the sewers and eventually reach the parking lot; it's a cow! Cloe has her arms round Blubell and she pleads with them not to eat her - for she can give them milk! Amber is furious that Bray allowed everyone to get in a panic. and that Lex humiliated himself, when Bray knew all along that it was Cloe's calf. Zandra praises Lex for his bravery - even if it was just a calf.
