The New Security System Jack has an idea for a security system to be installed in the sewers, consisting of a tripwire connected to a laptop PC that will then create a frightening cacophony of howling wolves. Lex isn't hugely impressed with the idea, but gives the go-ahead. Jack gets to work straight away. Later, when the system has been installed, Cloe returns home safe and well (apart from a sprained ankle) after being lost in the woods for three days. She is accompanied by Tai-San. Everyone is thrilled to see Cloe, and welcomes Tai-San. All except Lex who interrogates Tai-San, and scolds Jack for his ineffective alarm system. Down in the sewers, Jack and Dal fix the alarm system, supervised by Lex. Badmouthing Tai-San continues, but no one takes Lex seriously any more.
