The Mallrats Tai-San is something of a New Age philosopher. Whatever Lex thinks about her, and to him her ideas seem totally wacky, others, including Amber, are prepared to listen. She believes fate has brought her to the Mall, and when she learns the tribe has no name, she is determined to change that. Lex insists they be called "The Rats". Tai-San invites everyone to form a circle. Even Trudy wants to be a part of it. "As of this day, all those who join hands are bound together as one - brothers and sisters to the end." From now on, they call themselves "The Mallrats".
