Trudy is too Dejected to Care for Brady With everyone busying themselves in readiness for the expected attack by the Locos, Trudy is still distraught because she saw Bray kissing Salene like he really loved her. She also fears what the Locos would do to her if they found out Brady is Zoot's daughter. Seemingly oblivious to anything except her lost dream of being with Bray, Trudy ignores Brady's most basic needs. Amber sees to Brady out of necessity, pointing out that Brady's screaming is likely to attract unwelcome attention to the Mall. Trudy bitterly resents being told what to do, and even accuses Amber of having designs on Bray.
