Trudy Returns
Trudy's break from the Mall and her short stay with the Nomads gave her a fresh perspective on life, most specially with regard to her role as Brady's mother. She left the seemingly idyllic life with Nomads and made her own way back to the Mall without Dal.

Amber is first to see her, and is not pleased, asking only "Where is Dal?"

Next stop is the Café where Bray is equally unwelcoming and asks the same question. Patsy and Cloe are more willing to hear Trudy out and give her a chance. Tai-San is very supportive. Salene takes the greatest step of all, walking to the front to hand Brady back to her real mother.

Trudy is definitely changed, and determined to build and repair relationships with everyone at the Mall. The sullen, bitter creature is mostly gone. She now cares for Brady and is pleasant, chatty, even to Jack, who asks about Dal.

Most difficult is Salene. Trudy admits to being a lousy mom. Salene is still tormented by guilt inside, for leaving Trudy to die. She is quick to forgive Trudy, but still not brave enough to bare her soul.

The Tribal Gathering
Amber remains hostile, for Dal was Amber's best friend, and it seems like Trudy took him, then dumped him somewhere without any friends. Trudy explains that Dal chose his own path.

Trudy also tells about the upcoming Tribal Gathering she heard about from Troy. Amber is interested, and when she discusses it with Bray, so is he. Lex is negative, but then he always is.

Amber gets everyone together in the Café so Trudy can share everything she knows about the Gathering. The driving force behind it is Ebony, and its purpose is to bring Tribes together in peace through trade. Most are interested. Salene and Tai-San are enthusiastic. Bray suggests he get more information from Ebony herself.
