Zandra's Ring Zandra recently took Lex back on condition he dumped Tai-San, face-to-face, and with Zandra as witness. Zandra still wants to marry him, and in her ideal world, she would have a church wedding with all the trimmings, but she tells Lex she will be happy with just a ring. He must find one for her as a test of his love. Rings and jewelry were all looted out long ago. Asking Ryan for help is a long shot. The answer is 'no'. Lex has a brilliant idea. Surely he can find something in Jack's workshop? He finds a coil of wire - and some cutters. A couple of snips and Lex has the makings of Zandra's ring. Zandra is delighted with it, and she agrees to move in with Lex, but no sex until after the wedding. There's just one problem - Ryan. Zandra volunteers to break the news to Ryan gently: he must move out of the Boutique, because she is moving in. As an incentive, she promises to marry Ryan instead if Lex can't keep his hands to himself. Ryan believes her! Earlier: Amber informed Jack that his wind project had suddenly become very important. Unlimited power for charging batteries is to be the Mallrats' main trading item at the Tribal Gathering. Jack has no idea that Lex has already snipped out some copper wire from a car alternator that is a vital part of the project. Unwittingly, Lex has made sure the project can never work.
